Hart is a centre for arts, knowledge and culture in Haarlem.
Hart is committed to making cultural and creative development possible for all residents of the Zuid-Kennemerland region.
At our historic location in the centre of Haarlem we offer courses, workshops and cultural activities for children and (young) adults. Hart also works with local cultural partners to organise various activities in the different neighbourhoods of Haarlem and the Zuid-Kennemerland region. Finally, Hart teams up with schools, teachers, cultural organisations and professionals in culture, education, care and welfare. Together, we strive to make arts and culture available to everyone, both in education and in everyday life.
Many of our courses and activities welcome an English-speaking audience. Don’t hesitate to contact us if Dutch is not your native language with any questions you might have.
